Stabbing near Ainsworth Park Leaves Man Hospitalized; 2 Suspects in Custody

The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center Monday evening. His injuries are not expected to be life threatening.

A stabbing Monday night at an apartment complex near Ainsworth Park has left a man hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

After a confrontation near 10:30 p.m. on the 2700 block of Rhode Island Avenue, St. Louis Park police searched the area. Multiple agencies, including Golden Valley and Eden Prairie, assisted in the search.

Two male suspects were arrested at the apartment complex.

The incident comes a month after a St. Louis Park man stabbed himself with a kitchen knife and several months after a woman was accused of stabbing her boyfriend in St. Louis Park.

The stabbing remains under active investigation, but a criminal complaint may be issued as soon as later today.
