Updated: SLP Man Dies After His Motorcycle Hits Antelope
The collision was at about 2 p.m. Friday near Ellis, ID.
A St. Louis Park man died Friday after the motorcycle he was driving hit an antelope, according to media reports.
Lawrence Steffens, 53, died at about 2 p.m. Friday, according to twincities.com.
The Pioneer Press and KSTP are reporting Steffens was riding a Harley Davidson and was wearing a helmet.
The Idaho State Patrol reported the collision was near Ellis, ID.
According to Steffens' Facebook page, he was an alumni of Totino-Grace High School and the architecture program at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Since his death, Steffens' Facebook page has filled to overflowing with messages of grief and loss from friends and family.
