911 Transcripts Demonstrate Struggle After Lilydale Tragedy

The St. Paul Police Department provided the transcripts to Minnesota Public Radio on Wednesday.

Minnesota Public Radio has published 911 transcripts that highlight the confusion after last month’s Lilydale Park tragedy, which killed two Peter Hobart students and injured two others.

In the transcripts, which the St. Paul Police Department provided to MPR on Wednesday, callers struggle to pinpoint their location and help surviving students. At one point, an unidentified female caller hears sirens but added:

"Oh my God, I think they are going away from where... I am.... Make them stop!"
