Car Wash Coming to Excelsior and France Gas Station
The car wash will be attached to the former Mobile gas station.
The gas station on the corner of Excelsior Boulevard and France Avenue will be getting an attached carwash.
On Monday night, the St. Louis Park city council voted 4-2 to approve a proposal by Auto Motion, the station's owner, to merge the former Mobile station with an adjacent parking lot. Council members Anne Mavity and Sue Sanger opposed the proposal.
The total property will be 57,852 feet. Parking on the northwest and east side of the gas station will be changed to make room for landscaping, driveways, and drive lanes for the car wash. The car wash will be accessible from the east, France Avenue side.
