Donate a Suit, Help a Woman Find Employment
This weekend's Send One Suit event encourages people to donate new or gently-used women's suits to those who need them.
Dressing for a job interview is a stressful task. After your resumé has been read, you only have one chance to make an in-person first impression, and that chance is the moment you walk through the door When piecing together interview outfits, I always recall advice from a college professor of mine who once told me to keep it simple. Don't let your outfit distract an employer from your resumé, he said, but do look professional and put together. This means no flashy jewelry or bold colors, he added, and to always wear a suit.
