Here are some of the top business stories in St. Louis Park: Steel Toe Taproom Steel Toe Brewing's taproom is now open. Since August when Steel Toe received the St. Louis Park City Council's blessing, owner Jason Schoneman has been working on the perfect taproom to compliment the brewery located at 4848 West 35th Street. Last weekend was opening weekend for the taproom. From Steel Toe's Facebook page: "We had a great time pouring pints for everyone! Thank you for such a great STB Tap room opening weekend. We highly encourage you to come back again and again!" And Steel Toe customers seemed to enjoy themselves as well, with comments such as these: It was nice to meet you last night, Jason, and the place looks great! The beer is good, too. …

St. Louis Park Businesses Will Hold Workshops At Remodeling Fair

With the bone-chilling temperatures outside, you might not be thinking about home remodeling projects, but the upcoming home remodeling fair is a good way to get into the construction mood. The West Metro Remodeling Fair takes place at the Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins on Feb. 24. There will be more than 100 vendors on hand to answer questions and offer inspiration. Plus, there are 16 workshops being offered. While the event is about a month away, it’s a good time to peruse the list of workshops and plan your day.
