UPDATED: SLP Standoff Resolved
Standoff lasted almost 5 hours.
UPDATE 10 a.m. Dec. 16: St. Louis Park police have resolved a standoff at the 3700 block of Kipling Avenue, according to city spokesperson Jamie Zwilling. Around 5 a.m., a man living in a duplex on that block made what Zwilling called "possible threats against himself and others." In response, police blocked off the area and evacuated residents from the other side of the duplex, plus the two houses on either side of the duplex. Police believed the man had access to a firearm, but so far one has not been recovered. The evacuees were brought to Wolfe Park Pavilion while the situation was resolved.
