Man Charged with Threatening Woman in SLP Hospital
Police say Samuel Lee Moore told the hospitalized woman that he would throw her down the stairs and break her neck.
An Excelsior man has been charged with threatening to kill a woman while she was a patient in a St. Louis Park hospital. Samuel Lee Moore, 55, is charged with making terroristic threats, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. St. Louis Park police were called to Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital on Dec. 1 to investigate a report of threats being made toward a patient, according to the criminal complaint, signed by St. Louis Park Police Officer Siar Nadem. The victim told police that Moore had come to visit her in her hospital room about 8 p.m., and he had been drinking.
