Stray Rottweiler Bites Woman, Non-working Snowblower Stolen: Blotter

A roundup of crimes and incidents reported to the St. Louis Park Police Department between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1

At 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 28, police were dispatched to the area of Susan Lindgren Elementary School on a report of a dog bite. A St. Louis Park resident living near the school tried to corner a brown Boxer or Rottweiler dog that was running free around her neighborhood. When she tried to grab the dog’s collar, the dog bit her hand and ran off. The woman said the dog was wearing a collar with silver spikes, no tags, and it had numerous cuts to its face and legs. The woman suffered six puncture wounds to her hand. Her husband took her to the emergency room.
