Bowl Some 'Strikes for STEP' This Weekend

A bowling fundraiser is planned for the St. Louis Park Emergency Program.

This coming Saturday, St. Louis Park residents are invited to hit the lanes for a good cause. "Strikes for STEP" will be held at Park Tavern from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For $50 per hour, a group of up to six people can bowl, with all proceeds going to the St. Louis Park Emergency Program. There will also be hourly door prize drawings open to anyone who brings a donation of peanut butter or canned fruit. Advance registration is available on STEP's website through Thursday.

Rotary Hosts Shoot-Out Fundraiser

The event, held at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club, raised more than $5,000.

On Oct. 5, the St. Louis Park Sunrise Rotary took a shot at raising some much needed funds. The club hosted its ninth annual Sporting Clays and Wild Game Dinner at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake. Guests paid to enter the sporting clays contest, with the top team of five in line to win $1,000 for a charity of their choice. This year, the winners came from Adolfson-Peterson Construction. Team members were: Chris Wagner, Jack Webber, Steve Coutant, Paul Kusliek and Mike Lundeen. The fivesome decided to donate their $1,000 to the Minneapolis Children's Hospital. Whiz Kids: Boy Scouts Greet Diners, Raise Funds

This Weekend, Get Out and Have Fun Doing Good

Business Partnership Leads to Much More

The trunk show at Max's in St. Louis Park this weekend will benefit organ and tissue donation.
