Three Inches of Rain in St. Louis Park—So Far

A flash flood watch is in effect for the Twin Cities through 1 p.m. today.

St. Louis Park has received a shade under three inches of rain in the last 24 hours, the National Weather Service reports, and more is in the forecast through Memorial Day weekend. Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 7 p.m. Thursday, then there is a chance of showers between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. Friday. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall.  Thunderstorms remain in the forecast through Monday night. Rain is also possible next Tuesday and Wednesday, although the storms figure to be less severe. If you snap any photos of the stormy weather, feel free to share them here.
