Benilde Boys Take on Wayzata for the Section 6AA Hockey Title

The Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network will broadcast the game at about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The Benilde-St. Margaret's boys hockey team will play Wayzata on Wednesday night at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis. The Red Knights and the Trojans will face off at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, or about 30 minutes after the Class 2A game, according to the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network. Benilde defeated Eden Prairie last weekend to advance to the title game. Last year, the Benilde boys won the state championship. That capped a season that included the game where Jack Jablonski sustained a spinal cord injury. You can follow Wednesday's game live on mnsportsnetwork.com. Benilde Icers Among Finalists for 2013 Mr. Hockey Award

Grant Besse and Dan Labosky are in the running for the prestigious award. The winner will be announced on Sunday, Mar. 10, during the 29th annual Mr. Hockey Awards Banquet.

Benilde-St. Margaret's seniors Grant Besse and Dan Labosky are among 10 Minnesota hockey stars in the running for the 2013 Mr. Hockey Award. The Red Knight stars helped propel BSM to a state title last season, with Besse tallying all five of the team's goals in the championship game. Labosky has 11 goals and 46 assists during the 2012-13 season, while Besse has a monstrous 39 goals and 25 assists. The pair of BSM talents are two of 10 hockey players up for the annual award through the Minnesota Minute Men. They're joined by: Besse has committed to the play hockey at the University of Wisconsin, while Labosky will attend Colorado College.
