Benilde Senior Named Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2013
Maggie McGill, a senior at BSM, won the competition to be Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2013 at a pageant in late November.
It was literally a crowning achievement for one Benilde-St. Margaret's senior late last month. BSM Senior Maggie McGill, of Plymouth, was crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2013 at a competition held Nov. 25 at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. "I'm really excited to represent Minnesota," McGill said. "I've already met some amazing people and made some great friendships." Believe it or not, this was actually McGill's first experience in a pageant. As a competitive figure skater, McGill said she's to being in the spotlight. She also noted pageants require a lot less jumping and spinning. McGill is now the recipient of thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes.
