Jabs Is 2012 Courage In Sports America's Choice Honoree

Jack Jablonski was named the winner Sunday in a special on CBS.

Jack Jablonski is the 2012 America's Choice Honoree. The award was announced during the Courage in Sports broadcast Sunday afternoon on WCCO (CBS). Jack is a Benilde-St. Margaret's hockey player who sustained a serious spinal cord injury in a game 10 months ago. He has made steady progress on his journey to walk again. His mom, Leslie, even recently posted on his CaringBridge page that he blew out the candles on his 17th birthday cake. The Star Tribune reported that after he won Jack said, "It drives me to do the best that I can, knowing people are out there to support me."
