Donations Needed for STEP's Holiday Program

Toys, gift cards will help families in need this holiday season.

The is asking area residents to help support its annual December Holiday Program, which brings gifts to kids whose families are in need.

New toys in the $15 to $40 price range, as well as $10 Target gift cards, can be dropped off at the STEP office through the end of business today. As of Dec. 6, 367 children had registered for the program. Registration ends today as well.

Infants and Toddlers ($15-$40):  Riding Toys, Baby Bouncer Seats, Learning Toys, Disney Toys, Little Tikes Toys, Large Tonka Trucks, Multicultural Dolls

Age 4-7 ($15-$40):  Sleeping Bags, Dolls, Dora the Explorer, Craft or Activity Sets, Toy Story items, Scooters, Trucks and Cars, Dress-up Clothes, Play Sets (kitchen sets, matchbox sets)

Age 8-10 ($15-$40):  Remote Control Cars, Electronics, CD Players, Bed in a Bag Sets, Craft Kits, Lava Lamps

Age 11-18: $10 Target Gift Cards (STEP distributes 2 – $10 cards per child in this age range.  $10 increments give us the most flexibility)  Gift cards are needed throughout December to give parents at the time of registration.
