UNITED EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION DONATES WARM WINTER GARMENTS TO AQUILA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

St. Louis Park, MINN. – In keeping with the credit union tradition of service and giving back, United Educators Credit Union’s St. Louis Park Branch donated over 70 hats, scarves, mittens and gloves to Aquila Elementary School. The donations were given to the elementary schools in January to distribute to those children in need.

“We’re so thrilled to be able to support Aquila Elementary School and provide children with the essential winter garments they need during this cold winter,” said Goldyne Cunningham, Branch Supervisor.

UECU, a member-owned financial cooperative serving the education community, partnered with its members for its Fourth Annual Mitten and Hat Drive and collected donations at each of its five branch offices. Collectively, the credit union received approximately 230 warm winter garments.
