(VIDEO) BSM Rallies Before Tourney Opener

The Red Knights take on Edina tonight at 8 p.m.

Coach Ken Pauly didn't mince words about Minnetonka, and he didn't forget to tell students how much their support has meant to his team.

Pauly, the head coach of the BSM boys hockey team, spoke during a Wednesday celebration of all of BSM's winter state tournament participants to date. Pauly's squad will face Edina in the opening round of the Class 2A hockey tournament tonight at 8 p.m. You can see our complete game preview .

The coach said the state tournament isn't just about his team, but about the whole school, and the strength everyone has shown in the wake of .

Pauly also said it was nice to get some revenge on Minnetonka in the , after the Skippers' fans taunted the coach and made his daughter cry after a BSM loss a few years ago.

"I swore because they made my little girl cry we'd make them cry, and they did the other night, so that's good," Pauly said.
