What’s America’s favorite pastime? That’s right, baseball! Last week, I had the pleasure of going to Target Field to watch the Twins knock the Chicago White Sox out of the park with some first time spectators.
Noah and Caleb Tietjen had never been to a professional baseball game, so this was extra exciting for them. They were in awe of the grandiosity of the stadium as well as the height of the surrounding buildings. The view of the buildings here was much different than the distant view from their St. Louis Park backyard.
The kids had a great and memorable first game experience, complete with Wiffle ball souvenirs, lots of energy and a ton of pictures. How great is it to have such a nice ballpark only a few minutes away from our community?
