The Orioles continue to look impressive this season, as they took down Shakopee on the road, 6-1.

Park is now 4-0 and has outscored its opponents 24-4. The Orioles were just 2-23 last year.

Josh Passolt and Tyler Brodersen each scored twice in Thursday's win. Jake Baer and Nick Gaitan-Gaitan had a goal apiece. On the other end of the ice, Ryan Froom stopped 28 of 29 shots.

Up next for the Orioles is their home opener on Saturday against St. Francis. The puck will drop at 7 p.m.

BSM Boys Hockey Beats Totino

The Red Knights knocked off host Totino-Grace, 6-2.

BSM (No. 6 in Class 2A) was led by two goals from senior Christian Horn. T.J. Moore, Jake O'Borsky, Jake Horton and Nick Lauth added the other scores. The Red Knights improved to 5-1 with the win.

BSM's next game is Tuesday at home against Maple Grove.

BSM Girls Hockey Blanks Chisago

The Red Knights won in shutout fashion, 7-0 over visiting Chisago Lakes.

BSM (No. 2 in Class 2A) got 15 saves from sophomore Abbey Miller. Sophomore Kelly Pannek paced the offense with two goals and two assists, while five other Red Knights scored as well.

BSM (8-2) will host Irondale on Tuesday.

BSM Wrestling Drops Two

The Red Knights lost both legs of a home tri- meet, falling to Spring Lake Park and Mille Lacs. Individual results were not immediately available.

BSM will head to the Fargodome in Fargo, ND, for the "Rumble on the Red" meet on Dec. 29.

BSM Boys Swimming Wins at Home

The host Red Knights topped Spring Lake Park, 96-74. Individual results were not immediately available.

BSM will host Robbinsdale Cooper on Jan. 5 after a holiday break.

Results were not available for St. Louis Park girls hockey and boys swimming, as well as BSM dance.
