SLP Boys Basketball Wins at Home

The Orioles evened their season mark to 6-6 with a 63-56 home win over Robbinsdale Cooper on Friday.

Kashif Hayes paced Park with 25 points, while D.J. Pollard added 18. With the win, the Orioles improved to 3-1 in the North Suburban Conference, which has them one game back of first-place Spring Lake Park (4-0 in NSC).

Up next for Park is a Tuesday home game against Totino-Grace.

BSM Boys Basketball Rolls

The Red Knights topped Irondale at home on Friday, 82-67, to improve to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in the North Suburban Conference.

BSM (No. 1 in Class 3A) was led by Will Dunn, who had 21 points. Isaiah Gray added 19 points, while Isaiah Zierden had 18.

The Red Knights will host St. Francis on Tuesday.

SLP Girls Basketball Loses Big

The Orioles were no match for Robbinsdale Cooper (No. 9 in Class 4A), falling 75-31 on the road.

Park (4-11 overall, 1-4 in NSC) had no players in double figures—Abigail Olson and Cianna Edwards led the way with eight points each.

The Orioles will head to Totino-Grace on Tuesday.

BSM Boys Hockey Wins Big

After a close loss to Minnetonka on Thursday, the Red Knights had no problem with Robbinsdale Cooper on Saturday, winning 21-0.

BSM (No. 6 in Class AA) fired 55 shots on goal, to seven by Cooper. Twelve different Red Knights scored, with freshman Chase Jungels exploding for five goals.

BSM (10-4, 4-0 in NSC) will host St. Francis on Tuesday.

SLP Girls Hockey Shut Out

The Orioles couldn't get anything going on Saturday, falling on the road to Spring Lake Park, 7-0, to fall to 3-16 on the season.

Park will host Holy Family/Waconia on Tuesday.

BSM Girls Hockey Wins on the Road

The Red Knights topped Lakeville North (No. 12 in Class AA) on the road Friday, 5-1, to improve to 15-2 on the season.

Kelly Pannek scored three goals for BSM (No. 1 in Class AA). Liv Halvorson and Anne Arnason added a goal apiece. Abbey Miller stopped 22 of 23 shots on net.

The Red Knights will head to Chisago Lakes on Tuesday.

BSM Boys Swimming Takes 2nd

The Red Knights took second place on Saturday in the Packer Invite at South St. Paul High School with a team total of 282 points. Individual results were not immediately available.

BSM will take on Fridley on the road on Thursday.
