SLP Hires Washburn Defensive Coordinator as New Head Football Coach
Ben Wolfe takes over from Vince Varpness.
St. Louis Park High School has selected former Washburn High School defensive coordinator Ben Wolfe as the Oriole’s new head football coach, the Sun Sailor reported.
Wolfe takes over from Vince Varpness, who started in 2011 but will become an assistant football coach and full-time employee at St. Olaf College starting in the fall.
While at Washburn, Wolfe helped the team to a 7-2 record, according to the Minneapolis City conference.
