Wednesday's snowfall, Thursday's cold wind and the Spring Lake Park pitching staff couldn't cool off the St. Louis Park bats as the Orioles rolled to a 6-2 road win over the Panthers. St. Louis Park improved to 6-0 with the win.
Led by Derrick Keller's three hits and two runs batted in, the Orioles scored in each of the first four innings to build a lead that the Panthers couldn't recover from.
Scott Foltz and Jacoby Courington-Meir added to the Orioles early scoring surge, collecting two hits apiece.
Pitcher John Gollice shut down Spring Lake Park, allowing only six hits while striking out seven.
Up next for St. Louis Park is a road showdown with local rival Benilde-St. Margaret's on Monday afternoon.
