Jack Jablonski Gets to Hold the Stanley Cup

Davis Drewiske, a reserve player with the Los Angeles Kings, stopped at the Jablonski house on Monday.

It's tradition that Stanley Cup winning players get to go wherever they please with the trophy for one day each.

Davis Drewiske, a reserve defenseman for the champion Los Angeles Kings, made his day with the cup on Monday one to remember for Jack Jablonski, notes Jack's mom, Leslie, on CaringBridge:

A huge thanks to LA Kings defenseman Davis Drewiske for taking time out of his big day with the Stanley Cup to include Jack in his and Lord Stanley's plans.

Davis stopped by this morning with the 35-pound prized trophy before he headed to his hometown of Hudson, Wis. for a show-and-tell session with the public in the rink where he skated as a youth.  

Both Jack and Max proclaimed their time with Davis and the Cup to be a highlight of their lives. The hubby was equally thrilled and ear-to-ear smiles while I knocked a key item - sipping champagne out of the Stanley Cup - off my bucket list.
