The big game is a time for great food, and we want to know your favorites.

Another year, another Super Bowl without the Vikings.

Yes, yours truly is a . And I'd imagine many of you reading this are, too. But the Super Bowl transcends team—whether your favorite squad is playing or not, it's still an event worth watching with family and friends. Indeed, last year's big game was the most watched TV program in American history, showing just how universal the Super Bowl really is.

So we fully expect that you'll be watching the game, and when you do, you might as well have—or go to—a party. And what party isn't complete without some great grub? Below, I've shared a delicious taco dip mix that is sure to have people coming back for more. But we want to hear your best recipe, too. In the comments section below, feel free to share.

Taco Dip

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Green pepper, chopped
  • Onion, chopped
  • Lettuce, chopped or shredded
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican)

Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, salts and pepper. Spread mixture on bottom of pan (can be cookie sheet), then add layer of green pepper, onion, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
