BSM's Oftedahl Falls in State Championship

Benilde-St. Margaret’s sophomore Jarred Oftedahl fell one win short of a state championship Saturday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Oftedahl fell to Kyle Gliva of Simley in the championship match, 4-1. Earlier in the day, Oftedahl beat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown/Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton’s Skyler Petry in the semifinals.
On Friday, the Red Knights sophomore defeated New Prague’s Trevor Westerlund 11-2 before beating Milaca-Faith Christian’s Joey Curtis in the 103-pound championship quarterfinals.
