9-Year-Old SLP All-Stars Win Little League District Championship
The team of 12 St. Louis Park all-stars was undefeated in the tournament.
The St. Louis Park Little League All-Star team beat Golden Valley 10-9 last Monday to win the District 1 championship title.
The team of 9-year-old all-stars was undefeated 6-0 in the tournament, held in Crystal.
“This group of kids worked really hard during both the regular season and All-Stars, and it showed this past week," said Matt Farley, the team’s head coach and Little League President, in a statement. "We couldn’t have been more proud."

The All-Star Team's 12 players all hailed from St. Louis Park: Sam Berry, Will Dvorak, Torii Eberle, Ben Farley, Charlie Hower, Kristofer Hokenson, Nick Kent, Bennett Kouame, Henry Odens, Diriye Osman, Juan Russy and Matt Wooden.
