St. Louis Park Company Given Free Storefront in Downtown Duluth

Woodchuck, a SLP company that makes customized wooden cases for electronics, will get a chance to sell their products for free to Duluth residents during the holidays.

Woodchuck, a St. Louis Park company that manufactures customized wooden cases for phones, laptops and other electronics, will get a chance to peddle its wares in downtown Duluth this holiday season without paying rent.

The company is one of six vendors chosen by the city of Duluth for its new Pop Up in Downtown program, according to Minnesota Business Magazine.

From Nov. 30 to Jan. 10, Woodchuck will be given a vacant storefront on Superior Street.

“There is a growing national trend of retail stores sprouting up for short-terms in such places as vacant downtown storefronts,” Downtown Duluth representatives said in a statement. “The Greater Downtown Council is pleased to team up with downtown property owners to activate vacant storefronts for the holidays.”
