A Year Later, BBB Backtracks on St. Louis Park Clinic

New Leaf Clinic in St. Louis Park was erroneously tied to a Nashville-based clinic that had offered the same services here in 2012. The former clinic had run-ins with the business oversight group.

Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota (BBB) has learned that an item of information reported in its October 25, 2012 Press Release concerning St. Louis Park hormone replacement therapy clinic New Leaf Medical, PLLC contained an error.

That press release informed consumers that the clinic was linked to another clinic that was having legal issues and that it had “changed its name” to New Leaf Medical.

However, there is no legal connection between New Leaf Medical, PLLC and the medical clinic previously operating at that address.

The former clinic, an HRC Medical Center, Inc., which is based in Nashville, was cited by the BBB in 2012 because “it’s endangered the health of consumers without their knowledge, significantly impaired the quality of life for an untold number of consumers, and caused widespread economic loss," according to the statement from Dan Hendrickson, communications coordinator for the BBB.

The statement in 2012, captured in this Patch article, erroneously tied the new clinic to the former building occupant.
