Two from St. Louis Park are Candidates for Teacher of the Year
Meredith Homans and Arika Mareck were among the 135 teachers on a list released Thursday by Education Minnesota.
Two St. Louis Park educators are up for Minnesota Teacher of the Year against 133 from other districts.
Meredith Homans and Arika Mareck "accepted their nominations and completed the required materials to become eligible for the honor," according to a Thursday news release from Education Minnesota.
The Teacher of the Year will be awarded May 5 at Marriott Minneapolis Northwest in Brooklyn Park.
