SLP's Goddard Named Teacher of the Year Finalist

The psychology and social studies teacher will join nine others at a May 6 banquet.

psychology and social studies teacher Greg Goddard is among 10 finalists for the Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award. The list was released today by Education Minnesota.

Goddard, who graduated from St. Louis Park High School, has been teaching at the school since 1991. He also serves as the boys golf coach.

The finalists will be invited to a May 6 banquet, where the 2012 Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be announced by last year's winner, Katy Smith of the Winona School District.
