SLP High School Homecoming Guide 2012

The big game and parade are on Friday.

It's homecoming week at St. Louis Park High School, and plenty is planned. Here's a quick look:

Monday, Oct. 1

Student Dress Code: Minnesota Pride

Activity: Powder Puff (Girls’ Football)  

  • Time: 7 p.m.  
  • Location: Oak Hill Park  
  • Cost: $3.00 per person/ 6 girls per team  

Tuesday, Oct. 2

Dress Code: Dress Like a Little Kid or Old Person  

Activity: Movie on the Field  

  • Time: 7:00 p.m.  
  • Location: Field by Track at the High School or Auditorium (if rain)  
  • Cost: $3.00 per person   

Wednesday, Oct. 3

Dress Code: Students Dress Like Teachers/Teacher Dress Like Students  

Activity: Homecoming Coronation & Senior Banquet  

  • Time: 7:00 p.m. (Coronation) & 7:30 p.m. (Senior Banquet)  
  • Location: Coronation- High School Auditorium & Senior Banquet- West End DoubleTree Hotel   
  • Cost: $3.00 (Coronation)  

Thursday, Oct. 4

Dress Code: America Day

Activity: Badminton   

  • Time: 7:00 p.m.  
  • Location: Field House- High School  
  • Cost: $3.00 per person/ 2 people per team  

Friday, Oct. 5 

Dress Code: Park Pride  

Activity: Parade & Football Game  

  • Time: 5:45 pm parade (line-up at 5:30) – Parade goes around block of the High School  
  • Location: Meet at Parking Lot (Long Lot) by Field House at High School if in the parade  
  • Cost: Free   

Saturday, Oct. 6  

Activity: Homecoming Dance (Formal)  

  • Time: 8:00-11:00 p.m.  
  • Location: Mall of America- Nickelodeon Universe (All students take busses that depart from the high school at 7:30 p.m.)  
  • Cost: $20 per ticket
