School Board Recognizes State Swimmers
St. Louis Park's Kathryn Ostrom paced the Orioles this fall with her second state title.
It was a familiar position for the girls swimming team on Monday—standing in front of a group, being recognized for stellar performances.
The St. Louis Park School Board celebrated the team's state swimmers at its most recent meeting. In all, six Orioles competed in the state tournament last month, with junior winning her .
"We had a great season this year," coach Jake Schwietering said told the board. "I am very proud of our team."

Joining Ostrom at state were Hannah Hein, Heather Westwood, Kailey DeLozier, Sydney Hall and Emmi Zheng.
