(PHOTOS) BSM Welcomes Freshmen

Benilde-St. Margaret's had a freshman orientation Monday before kicking off the school year today.

The school year got off to a rousing start on Monday.

Juniors and seniors, along with staff and faculty, helped welcome in roughly 230 freshmen on orientation day. The new students were greeted in the gym by a row of older students—all cheering and offering high-fives—as well as thumping dance music.

The freshmen then had a full day of fun activities and were able to walk to all of their classes—all in an effort to make them feel comfortable in their new surroundings.
