(PHOTOS) BSM Girls Soccer Brings Home State Title

The Red Knights defeated the Blake Bears 3-2 to win the Class 1A girls title.

The Benilde-St. Margaret's girls soccer team got redemption for last year's loss in the state title game, when it defeated Blake 3-2 to bring home the Class 1A girls title.

The undefeated team (21-0-1) avenged its 2011 loss to the Blake Bears, thanks in part to an overtime free kick from Dana Buckhorn that deflected off of a Blake player into the net. The Red Knights also had a pair of clutch goals from Kelly Pannek.
