I Survived a Stroke…Now What?

The INSPIRE program is a unique service offering survivors and their family support and education through seminars and support groups. It also provides educational resources through its Neurological Learning Center resource library. The center offers patients and the community up-to-date information on strokes, brain injuries and other neurological disorders affecting children and adults. Visitors to the center can find online information, pamphlets, newsletters, books, video and audiotapes, many of which can be checked out and used at home.

The program is run by volunteer staff consisting of survivors of neurological disorders and injuries, and supported by a program coordinator and clinical professionals involved with occupational, physical, speech and recreational therapies.
