BSM Students Have 'Whiteout' For Jablonski

A number of students honored the paralyzed hockey player by wearing his. No. 13.

was a sea of white on Thursday, as students wore the color to honor paralyzed hockey player Jack Jablonski.

Jablonski, a 16-year-old sophomore, sustained the injury during a junior varsity game on Dec. 30. He underwent spinal surgery on Wednesday, and on Thursday his neurosurgeon said Jablonski would likely .

A number of schools in the metro area, including , Minnetonka and Shakopee, had "whiteouts" of their own to honor Jablonski, as did students outside the state. BSM student newspaper The Knight Errant put together a collage of a number of these.

Hockey fans going to games tonight and through the weekend are being asked to continue wearing white in support of Jablonski.
