BSM Student Earns Perfect ACT Score

Jack McGinn is considering Harvard, Stanford and Dartmouth.

Perfect ACT scores are not easy to get.

Among the graduating class of 2011, 1.6 million students nationwide took the college entrance test—and only 704 of them scored a 36. For the Sept. 10 test administered across the Twin Cities, only seven metro students got perfect scores.

“I’m very grateful for the education I’ve received from BSM,” McGinn said in a news release.

The Red Knight senior is considering Harvard, Stanford and Dartmouth as possible destinations for college.

In addition to his academic prowess, McGinn has also been a decorated athlete at BSM. He is a two-time All-State swimmer—earning this honor during both his sophomore and junior years in the 200 and 500 freestyle—and is a member of the varsity baseball team.
