Pose Questions to the Candidates About Rail

A Patch-sponsored forum will be held on Oct. 13.

St. Louis Park Patch is happy to announce an upcoming City Council candidate forum on a very important topic—freight rail and light rail in the community.

The forum will be next Thursday, Oct. 13, from 7-8:30 p.m. at , Room C350. St. Louis Park Patch is presenting the forum in conjunction with grassroots group Safety in the Park.

On the note of this partnership, I want to make it very clear that this does not indicate that St. Louis Park Patch necessarily endorses Safety in the Park or supports the group’s policy positions. Rather, my interest comes from helping to facilitate what should be a very insightful discussion on a critical set of topics. I in fact will be acting as the moderator that evening to help make this a reality.
