WATCH: State of the City Features Police Team, CPR Tips and Firefighting
Public safety was a big hit at this year's event.
St. Louis Park’s Emergency Response Unit deployed to Fire Station No. 1 on Thursday to show State of the City attendees what a typical call looks like.
The team—complete with snipers, a riot shield and carbines—walked through their response. The event also included CPR tips, Mayor Jeff Jacobs extinguishing a fire and a farewell to retiring Fire Chief Luke Stemmer.
