City Utility Superintendent Gets Prestigious Award

Scott Anderson was one of 44 people in North America to receive the George Warren Fuller Award.

St. Louis Park Utility Superintendent Scott Anderson said it was "humbling" when he received a prestigious award in his field this past fall, and the City Council recognized that achievement Monday night.

Anderson received the American Water Works Association's George Warren Fuller Award, becoming one of only 44 recipients in North America. The award recognizes people who make tremendous impacts on the water works field and on their communities.

"It's really an honor," Anderson said on Monday night before receiving a round of applause from the council members.
