Ellison to Hold Forum on Voting Rights

The event is today at 3 p.m.

Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) is hosting an interfaith forum on voting rights this afternoon at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis.

The event will address why issues of voting rights are important for members of any faith, according to a press release from Ellison's staff.

Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Law, will be a featured guest.

All are welcome to attend. The forum starts at 3 p.m. The church is located at 2507 Bryant Ave. N.

Ellison Chats Middle East with MinnPost

The congressman had a recent interview with MinnPost in which he said, "I honestly don't believe most people in the Middle East hate America."

Three Debates in the Works

After a spirted debate at the Minnesota State Fair, it appears that Ellison and Republican challenger Chris Fields will debate three more times before Election Day, according to an Ellison staffer.
