The Minneapolis Passport Agency will be open on Saturday, April 9 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. What makes Passport Day special is that: 1) we're open on a Saturday; 2) we don't require appointments; and 3) the expedite fee ($60) that we normally charge for applying in person at our counter is waived - for Passport Day ONLY! (Of course, the regular application fees must still be paid.) Applications accepted on Passport Day will be given routine processing, which means applicants should receive their passports within three to four weeks.
