Six "Evergreen Awards" were handed out on Monday night.

The St. Louis Park City Council on Monday recognized a handful of individuals who have helped make the city beautiful in their own ways.

Six residents received "Evergreen Awards" for their outstanding landscaping. The winners were:

  • 4038 Quentin Ave. – Randall Olson (Minikahda-Vista Neighborhood)
  • 4151 Ottawa Ave. – James & Barbara Jacobs (Minikahda-Vista Neighborhood)
  • 3804 Rhode Island Ave. – Adrienne Fleming; Stephanie and Ron Byland (South Oak Hill Neighborhood)

The Evergreen Award is presented each year in recognition of properties that are uniquely designed, landscaped and well maintained, with an emphasis on landscaping that is visible to the passer-by. Businesses, apartments and houses are all eligible to receive the award.
