As part of Child Passenger Safety Week, communities nationwide are offering free, hands-on child safety seat inspections and advice—culminating with National Seat Check Saturday on Sept. 22.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will also have car seat safety experts available to answer car seat and child passenger safety questions via Twitter handle @NHTSAgov at 1 p.m. CST Wednesday. Just follow the hashtag #TheRightSeat to join the chat.
