St. Louis Park Police Need Tips in Cold Case

Lauren Andersen was last seen 30 years ago today.

St. Louis Park police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are asking for tips in a 30-year-old cold case.

Lauren Andersen was last seen being picked up by an unknown individual at her residence in St. Louis Park at 6:15 p.m. on Nov. 15, 1981. She did not take any personal belongings with her, and she has not been seen or heard from since.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), Andersen would be 50 today. She is listed as being approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighing about 115 pounds.

In 2002, the vacant home of her former boyfriend was searched in connection to the case, according to NamUS. Nothing was found during that search.

Police later arrested a suspect in Andersen's murder, but without any physical evidence, no charges were filed.
