St. Louis Park Man Allegedly Plays 'God' Behind Wheel, Injures Passenger

He reportedly accelerated up to 100 mph.

A St. Louis Park man was charged with felony criminal vehicular operation last week for allegedly speeding up to 100 mph and slamming into another vehicle, breaking a second man’s ribs.

Christopher Matthew Molloy, 27, of 3030 Cavell Ave. S, remains in Hennepin County custody on the single charge.

According to a criminal complaint, Molloy was driving a 2006 Pontiac on May 19 near Normandale  Boulevard and Norman Ridge Drive in Bloomington with two passengers, a male and a female. The complaint alleges that Molloy and the woman began arguing about “God,” and Molloy said, “I’ll show you God” before accelerating to 90 to 100 mph. Molloy then allegedly tried to weave between two vehicles before hitting the back of another car. Molloy’s male passenger suffered multiple broken ribs.
