Shooting At SLP Apartment Complex Sunday Morning

Early Sunday morning, St. Louis Park police responded to shooting on the 7200 block of Walker Street, near the intersection of Highway 7 and Louisiana Avenue.

According to St. Louis Park spokesperson Jamie Zwilling, the incident occured at an apartment complex at 1:20 a.m. Unconfirmed reports say that a man was shot in the leg; Zwilling said the man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with "non-life threatening injuries."

Details on the shooting are still scarce, but Zwilling confirmed the shooting happened at a party in the building. Police did not release any suspect information, but said they continue to investigate.

"Authorities said there is no threat to the general public at this time," he said.
