'Robin Hood' Charged With Stealing: #6 Top Story Of The Year

A man with a well-known name was charged with a crime in St. Louis Park in June. It was one of St. Louis Park Patch's most popular stories of the year.

Police said and left Micro Center in St. Louis Park on June 7. On June 15, he again walked into the store, took a computer and left, according to St. Louis Park police.

Store employees confronted him in the parking lot this time, however, and asked him for his receipt. He said he dropped it, re-entered the store, went to the bathroom, changed his shirt and left the store.

As far as we can tell, he wasn't wearing tights and wasn't accompanied by a band of merry men on June 7 and June 15.

According to Hennepin County court records, he failed to appear at a hearing on Aug. 30, Sept. 12 and Nov. 7. A warrant was issued was his arrest on Nov. 7.
