Original report:

Police from St. Louis Park and other cities are engaged in an apparent standoff at a residence near 31st and Nevada in St. Louis Park, according to Patch Editor Jay Corn who is on the scene.

At about 1 a.m. Monday, four loud pops sounded at the home that police, including a SWAT team, have surrounded.

Nearby residences for about four blocks are "sequestered," Corn reported, and communications in the area appear to be jammed.

Corn posted this comment at about 1:35 a.m. at Police Clips Facebook page, which is carrying reports on the incident:

Area on lockdown. Heard 30 mins ago four bangs and the window break. Possibly flash bangs of some sort. Comms seemed jammed. Lots of neighbors out. Repeated megaphone commands for him to come out.
Neighbors have told Corn the standoff started at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, following a domestic dispute that began earlier in the day. One neighbor told Corn the police have responded to the address on previous occasions. The house appears to be for sale, Corn said.

Police Clips has posted audio of "how it started," including the call out for a SWAT team.
