Officers met with Jeffrey John Taylor, 35, who initially said he was picking up a prescription for a friend, but later said he was trying to get anti-anxiety pills for himself. Taylor told police that he was on Xanax and Methadone at the time. A pharmacist told officers that on Feb. 3, someone called in a large prescription for "Jason Nickels." The pharmacist checked with the doctor listed with the prescription order, who reported that no such prescription had been ordered. When Taylor showed up and asked for that prescription, the pharmacist called police. Taylor was arrested, and charges are forthcoming in Hennepin County.
